Soap Paint-- Pre-School Recipe Series

Pre-School Recipe Series- Each Monday (for a while) I'll be posting a recipe to use for pre-school. We will cover everything from puffy paint to goop and everything in between. Chances are you have many of these ingredients hiding in your cupboard so drag them out and use up an afternoon having fun with your hands!
You can pick up laundry soap flakes from your grocery store. It's inexpensive and located in the laundry aisle- I can't think of a brand name you'd find there but I'll update once I look around. Ivory may still make it in flake form.

Soap Paint

1 cup laundry soap flakes
½ cup cold water
Food coloring

Mix together. Beat with an egg beater until fluffy. Finger
paint.

Soap Paint # 2

1 cup laundry soap flakes
¼ cup water
1/3 liquid starch

Mix together. Beat with a whisk for 3 minutes. Finger
paint.
